Par. Reg. for Flade, (0049003), p. 186 gives death of Christian Fug l on 9 Aug.
1838 in Frederikshavn and burial 15 Aug. 1838, age 59.

The schoemaker records for Aalborg were searched by Richard W. Pric e and associates. The record stated that from the 7th of Aug. 1794 un til 7 Aug. 1800, Christian Fugl will be taught by Vilhelm Breum. Frid erich Fugl, Corporal with the Fladstsrand granisons Compagnie signe d this agreement for his daughter's son, Christian Fugl. There was an other document dated 16 July 1800 stating Villiom Breiom declared Chr istian Fugl had received his training and was now a shoemaker apprent ice. This record had Andreas Fugl as the father of Christian's mother , Karen Andreasdatter. Price and Ass. also found in the confirmatio n records of Fladstrand, an entry in 1794 for Christian Sorensen, ste pson of Ole Pedersen Biorlau.

father, John, who he said was born in Georgia, and his grandfather, J ames, who
he said was born in Scotland.
