Lois is researching for her parents. A good possibility is Niels Ch ristensen and Karen Johansen, which would have her christened 20 Aug. 1769 in L endum. (7619112-43) That record says "af L. Klem. Witnesses: Jons Johansen , Kirsten Johansdtr. In the Census for 1801 (039027) she is age 29. (Born in 1772) Death: Par. Reg. (049156): "Marie Nielsen, age 69, widow 'i Tilden' ( supported by the county)". Page 427. (Born in 1770) IGI gives parents Niels Olsen and Kirsten Sorensdatter. It has bap. 1 5 Jan. 1907 and end . 6 Mar. 1908 LG. In the Lendum Parish Register it has in 1763 Marie of Lendum b. 1 Ma y to Niels Olsen og Kirs ten Sorensdtr. wit. Christen Pedersen, Jons__ __ and Marna Jonsdtr.

He worked in the quarry at Little Cottonwood Canyon getting out stone for the S alt Lake Temple. His wife died and left him with 6 children. He then marrie d Johanna whom the kids called "Aunt Hannah." They worked in the Salt Lake Tem ple. He loved to sing. His last home was in Pleasant Grove, Utah where he di ed of a heart attack at the age of 73.
